# AsidePocket

> AsidePocket is a discreet, privacy-first messaging app that hides in plain sight. It opens as an innocuous camouflage shell, and private conversations are revealed only after a hidden gesture and personal PIN.

AsidePocket is designed to protect private conversations from people nearby, not only from online threats. Its public product information covers:

- Camouflage shells that look like an innocent game, recipe box, travel blog, or other everyday content.
- A hidden gesture and PIN unlock, with a five-minute lockout after five incorrect attempts.
- One-tap emergency conceal that returns the app to its camouflage shell.
- Private contact aliases and notes that keep real identities out of view.
- Connection requests sent by exact username or permanent user code, without address-book syncing. Free accounts receive two lifetime outgoing requests; valid delivered requests consume one, while failed, invalid, blocked, and duplicate requests do not.
- Notifications that avoid displaying message content or sender names.
- Free accounts include two lifetime outgoing requests, free incoming acceptance, and the game, travel, and recipe camouflage shells. A $5.99 connection credit buys exactly one outgoing request as a one-time, non-recurring purchase; it never expires and persists across devices and subscriptions. Premium is $7.99/month for unlimited outgoing requests while active (subject to anti-abuse limits), ad suppression, and existing Premium features. Purchased credits are used after free credits and remain after Premium ends.
- Refund behavior is account-specific: support reviews billing issues and refund requests. Refunding an unused purchased credit reverses it; refunding a consumed credit does not change the connection graph or create a negative balance.
